I turned off the Twitter versions of my fleet of bots last week, and today I went through their various home pages and took out the Twitter timelines - which seem to have stopped working anyway - and replaced them with embedded timelines from their Mastodon incarnations, using Emfed, which was really simple.
I hadn't created any Twitter bots since I stopped using it regularly in 2016: all of my new ones have been Mastodon-only. Still, switching them off is making me feel a little sad, reflecting on how much fun Twitter used to be. Still, we weren't meant to all be using one website forever.
